Day 46

With Day 46 of  The Red Shoe Project,  I was more than ready for some RESTORATION. It's been a busy week! A lot has been going on! My mind, body and spirit need a breather... a break from all the hustle and bustle. Relief from all the pressures life can bring.  With that, I do believe it's time for a  Special Spiritual Spa Treatment!

Quiet time with God to
Rest  &  Renew

Rest? -- Sometimes you just have to STOP everything!   Get out of your regular routine.  Sit still.  Be quiet.   Listen.  No moving around.  No coming and going.  No running out to go here and there.  No errands.  No driving.  No nothing.  STOP!

Renew? --When you're tired, worn out, and empty, there's a need to be:
  •  Invigorated  -  Re-energized and strengthened
  •  Revived  -      Brought back to life
  •  and Filled  -    Fed, Poured into,  Nourished and Satisfied

There's a Special Treatment that will do all that!

It's called...
"Sitting at the Master's Feet."
(Luke 10:38-42)

(39) She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what he said.
(40) But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, "Lord don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!"
(41) "Martha, Martha," the Lord answered, "you are worried and upset about many things,
(42) but few things are needed - or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her."

Just sit quietly in His Presence.
The Holy Spirit will lead you.

Your unique treatment consists of the following:
  • A soothing CD of soft worship
  • A good cry
  • Words of adoration to God
  •  Special prayers for loved ones
  • An inspiring devotional
  • A few scripture look ups
  • Time to hear from God
  • Journaling your thoughts
  • Words of gratitude
  • A few long, steady, deep breaths
  • A glass of filtered water with lemon

I've kicked off  my RED SHOES
and I'm enjoying this time to the fullest!

Ready for a new tomorrow,
Gail
